Senior Accountant (Equity)

Salary: $88,000–$93,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations for the general ledger.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Manage accounting for stock-based compensation, including stock options, RSUs, and ESPP under ASC 718.
• Prepare equity roll-forward schedules and support financial statement disclosures.
• Assist with annual audits and internal control improvements.
• Coordinate with Legal, HR, and Payroll on equity plan administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience accounting for stock-based compensation and equity transactions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the US or Canada without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CPA designation.
• Public accounting experience.
• Experience with equity administration platforms like Morgan Stanley ETRADE.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP.
