What you will do

• Build and own the company's operating model, forecasts, and long-range plans across Consumer, Commercial, and Defense segments.
• Create board materials, investor updates, and monthly internal reporting for the CEO and Board.
• Lead the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts end-to-end, from target-setting through variance analysis.
• Partner with engineering, production, and sales leaders to guide pricing, hiring, and capital allocation decisions.
• Design scalable, AI-enabled reporting and planning workflows as the first dedicated strategic finance hire.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, or FP&A at a high-growth company.
• Proficiency with advanced financial modeling in Excel and creating executive-ready presentations.
• Fluency in corporate finance fundamentals and connecting operational drivers to three-statement forecasts.
• Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguity and manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Solid accounting foundation (GAAP fluency and month-end close experience).
• Experience in hard tech, manufacturing, marine, automotive, or aerospace and defense.
• Passion for using AI tools to automate workflows and increase output.
