TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, Texas (working together 3 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain reusable backend services and REST APIs consumed by multiple consumer brands.
• Partner with Product, Design, and mobile/web engineers to translate platform needs into shared solutions.
• Drive technical design and architecture discussions for large-scale, cloud-native systems.
• Ensure the platform remains scalable, reliable, and well-tested as it supports a growing brand portfolio.
• Expand into mobile feature development (Android/iOS) to maximize impact across platforms.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET, REST APIs, and JSON data contracts.
• Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven distributed architecture, and Kafka.
• Proficiency with relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres) and data modeling/optimization.
• Expertise in software design patterns, SOLID, and clean architecture.
• Experience with TDD, dependency injection, and CI pipelines.
• Must be based in Dallas, Texas to support the hybrid office requirement.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience shipping mobile features on Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift).
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry or Grafana.
