Sr Accounts Payable Specialist

Salary: $27.60–$51.40 per annum

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice coding, vouchering, review, processing, and internal-control compliance.
• Process vendor and employee payment runs three times per month.
• Review employee and AMEX corporate-card expense reports in Coupa and purchase requisitions in ServiceNow.
• Prepare month-end accruals, journal entries, vendor records, and related accounts payable files.
• Respond to vendor and employee inquiries, resolve outstanding payment issues, and support annual external audits.
• Prepare 1099 forms, participate in UAT testing, and contribute to finance process improvements and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, finance, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in an accounts payable specialist role or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• ERP experience; SAP experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
