What you will do
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor records, invoice verification, coding, bill entry, payments, vendor communication, and year-end Forms 1099.
- Lead invoice reviews, validate disbursement requests, and enforce approval requirements and accounting policies.
- Review purchase orders, maintain vendor documentation and insurance records, and support procure-to-pay controls.
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements, investigate outstanding items, and resolve discrepancies with purchasing and receiving teams.
- Prepare monthly expense accruals with accounting and finance teams and process employee expenses and corporate card transactions.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounts payable processing experience or an equivalent accounting background.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting and foundational accounting principles.
- Experience auditing employee expenses, approval requirements, and administrator responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of ERP and expense reporting applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accurate financial analysis skills.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, prioritization, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, or Ramp.
- Experience in a multinational organization.
