What you will do

• Architect and lead the roadmap for mobile development tooling, including simulator/emulator setup and CLI tools across iOS and Android.
• Design and evolve a mobile test automation framework for synthetic and integration testing across platforms.
• Define and implement the CI/CD quality gating strategy to protect production stability.
• Drive alignment across Native Infra, Cross Platform, and DevX teams to create a cohesive mobile workflow system.
• Establish and publish company-wide mobile testing best practices and methodologies.
• Mentor mobile engineers and collaborate with hiring managers to attract top mobile talent.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in either iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) with working knowledge of the other.
• Hands-on experience with React Native or similar cross-platform frameworks at a meaningful production scale.
• Proven track record of building and owning mobile test automation frameworks (synthetic, integration, or E2E).
• Experience defining quality gating strategies and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for mobile build systems.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-team technical projects and drive alignment without direct authority.
• Strong technical documentation skills and experience setting engineering standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud device testing platforms like BrowserStack or Firebase Test Lab.
• Familiarity with Bazel-based monorepo CI/CD environments at scale.
• Experience leading migrations from WebView to native or web-first to cross-platform paradigms.
• Background in internal technical advocacy and communication across large engineering organizations.
