What you will do

• Lead a team responsible for effective controls over securities operational accounting, including daily and monthly reconciliations.
• Drive the development and implementation of internal control initiatives for a new investment accounting subledger.
• Monitor KPIs for offshore partners to ensure consistent performance and goal achievement.
• Modernize monthly reconciliation processes by leveraging AI and automation software.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Securities Controllership, and Treasury to support management reporting and analytics.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of related professional experience.
• 1+ years of experience managing onshore and offshore teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data sets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating ideas to leadership.
• Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional working relationships.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA certification.
• Experience with insurance investment accounting systems.
• Knowledge of diverse asset classes including bonds, equities, mortgage loans, and bank loans.
