Sr Engineer II - SDET (Cybersecurity): Building and ensuring the operation of distributed test and release automation for a high-scale event search and detection platform with an accent on scalable automated testing architecture and end-to-end release pipelines. Focus on designing large-scale automation frameworks, leading SDET teams, and leveraging AI technologies to streamline quality assurance processes.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX (on-site 2-3x a week)

Salary: $160,000 - $250,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of scalable and efficient automated testing architecture.
• Build and guide end-to-end release automation for all releasable entities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and release management teams across the organization.
• Act as a technical and thought leader for quality assurance practices.
• Develop hands-on coding solutions to manage ambiguity and deliver innovative results.
• Lead and mentor a team of SDETs to ensure high product quality.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale test automation frameworks.
• Expert-level proficiency in one or more languages: JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Must be based in or be able to work hybrid in Austin, TX.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale log management products handling double-digit petabytes per day.
• Exposure to cybersecurity products.
• Knowledge of Go, Kafka, GraphQL, Kubernetes, or Jenkins.
