Salary: $19 — $21 USD per hour

What you will do

• Oversee waste sorting, recycling, and composting to meet zero-waste goals.
• Perform daily waste audits and identify opportunities for waste reduction.
• Coordinate with waste management vendors and partner organizations for food donations.
• Facilitate sustainability training for employees and chef teams.
• Track and report waste data to maintain sustainability certifications.
• Implement corrective action plans based on operational findings.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (mainly spoken).
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Basic knowledge of Google Docs.
• Ability to work on weekends (Wednesday and Thursday off).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• TRUE Advisor (GBCI) certificate.
• Experience supporting TRUE Zero Waste projects (diversion tracking, waste audits, donation logs).
