What you will do

• Act as the ultimate escalation point for critical and ambiguous technical issues across cloud and networking domains.
• Drive root cause analysis on systemic problems and influence upstream engineering fixes.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve complex challenges and establish documentation standards.
• Provide authoritative guidance on infrastructure as code, containerized applications, and cloud-native patterns.
• Define and refine support processes, SLA frameworks, and escalation paths.
• Mentor senior and junior team members to drive engineering rigor and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience in technical support, systems administration, or cloud operations.
• Must be able to work U.S. Eastern Timezone hours.
• Expert-level proficiency in Linux administration, performance tuning, and security hardening.
• Deep hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Advanced knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, firewalls, load balancers).
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash and Python.

Nice to have

• Substantial background in cybersecurity, threat detection, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, FedRAMP, GDPR).
