What you will do

• Prepare samples, reagents, and standards for analysis following established protocols.
• Perform data acquisition for XRD, XRT, and electron microscopy.
• Conduct ultramicrotomy for sample cross-section preparation.
• Perform routine instrument operation and maintenance.
• Manage laboratory waste disposal according to safety standards.
• Handle cryogenic materials and systems safely.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in chemistry, materials science, physics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work onsite at the Experimental Station in Wilmington, DE.
• Strong skills in sample preparation and safe chemical handling.
• Experience with laboratory equipment in a chemical setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team under tight timelines.
