Salary: $128,470–$208,770 per year

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, and scaling of software solutions, prototypes, pilots, and reusable platform capabilities.
• Evaluate and apply emerging technologies including generative AI, agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, cloud-native services, APIs, automation, and data-driven application patterns.
• Translate business opportunities and technical requirements into scalable designs, technical roadmaps, solution patterns, and implementation plans.
• Define proof-of-concept success criteria, performance measures, quality gates, automated testing, monitoring, and production-readiness reviews.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, integration needs, security considerations, and operational constraints.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, architecture, data science, cybersecurity, infrastructure, UX, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information technology, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Progressive software engineering experience developing complex applications, distributed systems, APIs, platforms, or cloud-native services.
• Experience leading work across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Go.
• Experience with scalable and secure architecture, APIs, automated testing, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud platforms, containerization, and infrastructure automation.
• Visa sponsorship is not available, and relocation is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI, machine learning, generative AI, large language models, agentic systems, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, or prompt-based solutions.
• Experience taking emerging technology concepts from proof of concept through pilot, production hardening, governance review, adoption, and operational support.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, model evaluation, guardrails, data privacy, cybersecurity, compliance, and enterprise risk management.
• Experience with Kubernetes, serverless architectures, microservices, event-driven architecture, API management, observability, or infrastructure as code.
