What you will do

• Prepare journal entries and perform detailed financial statement analysis.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including GL account reconciliation.
• Handle Medical Research accounting functions and maintain Fixed Assets records.
• Prepare Business Personal Property Tax Returns.
• Coordinate and process patient and insurance refunds.
• Support accounts payable and maintain positive internal customer service within the financial department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or mathematics from an accredited institution.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to build supportive relationships across multiple departments.

Nice to have

• Previous professional work experience in accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite Oracle (cloud-based ERP system).
