What you will do

• Take full ownership of backend features from design through implementation and production support.
• Design and maintain high-performance backend services using Python and Django.
• Build and manage integrations with KYC, geolocation, and payment partners.
• Implement observability, including monitoring, logging, and alerting across integration flows.
• Develop unit and integration tests to improve system reliability and coverage.
• Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience with Python as the primary language.
• Deep understanding of third-party API integrations, webhooks, callbacks, and idempotency.
• Experience in the architectural design of highly loaded and scalable solutions.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.
• Must be based in Belgrade

Nice to have

• Experience in early-stage startups and fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with observability tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or Grafana.
