TL;DR
Senior Python Developer (Django/Microservices): Building scalable backend services and client-backend interaction mechanisms for a high-traffic financial analysis platform with an accent on performance, distributed architecture, and fault tolerance. Focus on breaking up a Django monolith, designing microservices across multiple data centers, and implementing secure services with Docker, Kubernetes, messaging, and streaming solutions.
Location: Hybrid work format; office location is not specified. Relocation support is available.

What you will do
- Break up a Django monolith and design independent microservices for a distributed architecture operating across multiple data centers.
- Develop and integrate backend features for millions of simultaneous users, focusing on performance, load balancing, API gateways, and monitoring.
- Design scalable and secure service architectures and select data processing, messaging, and streaming solutions.
- Build fault-tolerant services using Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerized infrastructure.
- Collaborate with infrastructure specialists on network protocols, traffic routing, load balancing, and production reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience and 2+ years of hands-on Python experience.
- Strong knowledge of Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
- Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and modern backend web technologies.
- Ability to design solutions, select appropriate tools, and work with databases, messaging systems, and data streaming.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice to have
- Experience building high-load, fault-tolerant services and monitoring high-load production systems.
- Knowledge of Unix systems, operating-system internals, and networking.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Go.
- Experience with Zabbix or Grafana, finance or trading products, or TradingView.
