What you will do

• Define and evolve architectural solutions to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design frameworks, tooling, and engineering standards to enhance system resilience.
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, and Platform teams to embed architectural principles into delivery.
• Contribute hands-on to prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and critical production systems.
• Guide teams in adopting distributed system patterns, ensuring observability and operational maturity.
• Provide design reviews and technical guidance to raise engineering quality across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Significant experience designing and evolving large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Strong expertise in scalable design patterns, performance optimization, and cloud-based architectures.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability tooling.
• Ability to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency.
