What you will do

• Develop and validate analytical methods using HPLC (SEC, IEX, RP, HILIC) and LC-MS for proteins and biologics.
• Turn bespoke analytical methods into a productized, high-throughput characterization menu for antibodies.
• Collaborate with lab automation teams to implement methods on automated systems with reproducible turnaround.
• Partner with software teams to structure data and build analysis and QC pipelines for spectra and chromatograms.
• Own the integrity of reported results by troubleshooting instruments and defining acceptance criteria.
• Advise customers and internal stakeholders on the interpretation of analytical data.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on expertise in HPLC and mass spectrometry for proteins/biologics, including method development.
• Applied industry experience in production, manufacturing, QC, or commercial CRO settings.
• Strong knowledge of the analytical stack for antibodies (identity, purity, aggregation, and PTMs).
• Ability to build and scale new capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working in interdisciplinary teams alongside automation and software engineers.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Scripting skills or data fluency for converting method data into automated pipelines.
