What you will do

• Manage end-to-end purchase orders, including issuance, tracking, and closing, while coordinating lead times with suppliers.
• Coordinate purchasing requirements based on bills of materials and production schedules in collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage material availability, and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, managing couriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and required shipping documentation.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and identify new qualified suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing, inventory, and logistics within ERP systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of customs clearance processes and international trade agreements (e.g., USMCA).
• Ability to work with bills of materials, technical drawings, and component specifications.
• Experience with ERP software implementation and high precision in numerical calculations.
• Must be based in Toronto, ON for 100% on-site work.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the automotive, hardware, or medical device industries.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin.
• Experience working in an early-stage or scaling startup environment.
