What you will do

• Review new market categories and product features for regulatory exposure prior to launch.
• Translate legal and compliance constraints into clear, actionable product requirements for engineering teams.
• Contribute to the product roadmap by identifying and prioritizing regulatory risks.
• Embed legal thinking directly into the product design process through daily collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Develop internal frameworks and guidelines to streamline legal decision-making and reduce escalation.
• Monitor the evolving regulatory landscape in crypto and derivatives to proactively address potential issues.

Requirements

• JD degree required with a background in legal practice.
• 8+ years of experience at the intersection of legal and product within tech or crypto sectors.
• Deep understanding of regulatory thinking and financial compliance.
• Prior professional experience in the crypto industry.
• Strong product instincts with the ability to think in terms of user flows and trade-offs.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with CFTC regulation or derivatives compliance.
• Specific background in prediction markets, swaps, or event contracts.
