What you will do

• Develop and apply advanced design methods and research techniques for sensor technology.
• Analyze and recommend design approaches to meet prototype or production requirements.
• Plan and conduct hardware projects or specific phases of complex engineering projects.
• Develop real-time filters and algorithms for low-power MCUs or FPGAs.
• Apply quantitative analysis to determine root causes of technical problems and implement corrective solutions.
• Provide technical consultation and leadership to multidisciplinary team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Optics.
• 0-3 years of experience in Physics Engineering or a related field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
• Proficiency in programming languages for laboratory experiments and data collection.
• Experience with sound, vibration, or optical sensing technologies.
• Strong technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills.
