What you will do

• Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for clinical issues, guidelines, and therapeutic drugs within assigned areas.
• Develop grant-seeking strategies based on identified knowledge and performance gaps in the medical community.
• Partner with business development teams to conceive and present CME plans to potential funding sources.
• Create high-quality materials including presentations and proposals to support grant funding efforts.
• Manage relationships with external medical subject matter experts and cross-functional internal teams.
• Design data analysis plans and publish research results, including posters and journal articles.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, Pharm.D, PhD, or M.S.) required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical education or business development strategy.
• At least 3 years of experience as a scientific lead or medical director in medical education or pharma medical affairs.
• Strong knowledge of CME industry regulations and requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work remotely on shared cloud-based systems.
• Ability to travel up to 40% and work weekends as needed for project assignments.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting grant-based funding efforts.
• Proficiency with web-based data sharing tools like Box, SharePoint, EndNote, or Tableau.
