Production Operator

TL;DR

Production Operator: Assembling electromechanical products and operating manufacturing machinery with an accent on precision, quality control, and adherence to technical documentation. Location: Onsite in Murphy, NC. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Salary: $16.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble electromechanical products including rotors and stators using manufacturing documentation.
• Operate machinery such as strippers, potting mixers, and mold transfer presses.
• Install lead wire pin connectors and apply insulation, varnish, and potting compounds.
• Perform final motor assembly and conduct performance testing against specifications.
• Monitor automated machinery and prepare final products for packaging.
• Participate in cross-training across various manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience with soldering or willingness to become certified.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform repetitive tasks involving sitting, standing, or crouching.
• Good eyesight with the ability to distinguish colors and manual dexterity.
