What you will do

• Provide daily engineering support for injection molding processes to maintain yield and quality.
• Manage mold components and coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and repairs.
• Design and optimize manufacturing processes, production layouts, and tooling specifications.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for equipment performance issues.
• Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods to reduce process variation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide design for manufacturability (DFM) guidance.

Requirements

• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of related experience OR Advanced Degree with 0 years of experience.
• Strong background in plastics and injection molding.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Danvers, Massachusetts.
• Knowledge of regulatory and quality standards such as FDA and ISO.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience managing external vendors and suppliers.
• Strong data analysis skills for informed decision-making.
