Location: Hybrid in Mountain View, California (in office at least 3 days per week)
Salary: $124,000 - $175,000 per year

What you will do
- Support the creation and maintenance of detailed subsystem schedules and monitor for scope creep or schedule slips.
- Coordinate cross-functional hardware and software teams to ensure system-level requirements are decomposed, mapped, and verified.
- Deconstruct high-level engineering milestones into trackable and actionable tasks in project management tools.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives between program management, engineering, and manufacturing to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Design and maintain intuitive dashboards, progress charts, and status metrics to visualize project health.
- Centralize and track the lifecycle and approval of critical systems engineering artifacts, including dFMEAs and HSI documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2-3 years of experience with core engineering principles and the Systems Engineering V-Model.
- Knowledge of how a Bill of Materials (BOM) is structured.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to build structure out of ambiguity and track deliverables.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and interface with engineering leaders.
Nice to have
- Experience using Jira to manage engineering sprints and track program milestones.
- Familiarity with Jama or DOORS for requirements decomposition and traceability.
- 2-3 years of exposure to PLM platforms such as Arena for BOM architecture and ECO workflows.
- Experience navigating complex product assemblies in 3DEXPERIENCE / 3DX or equivalent CAD platforms.
- Experience in fast-paced hardware development environments (automotive, robotics, aerospace, or sensor technologies).
