What you will do

• Perform mission planning checks and monitor daily spacecraft operations.
• Analyze health and performance of subsystems and contribute to anomaly investigations.
• Develop and maintain operational baselines, including manual and automated procedures.
• Support spacecraft simulator development and validation activities.
• Prepare performance reports and contribute to re-orbiting and decommissioning activities.
• Interface with satellite manufacturers and system teams during operational readiness campaigns.

Requirements

• University degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in spacecraft operations (LEO/GEO) or operations preparation.
• Proficiency with SCOS 2000 Mission Control System.
• Must be an EU citizen or eligible for a German work permit.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
• Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with APEX operations procedures tool.
• Proven experience in LEOP and commissioning phases.
• Familiarity with ECSS Packet Utilisation Standard.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or VBA.
