Salary: $153,000 - $171,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead a team of 2-3 engineers in an agile, multidisciplinary environment.
• Design and develop scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Implement large-scale data ecosystems on cloud platforms including data management and governance of structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Develop data engineering applications and pipelines for government partners.
• Conduct software design and code reviews while maintaining security and privacy standards.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in agile teams building on Cloud platforms.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• At least 3 years of experience building data services on AWS.
• Proficiency in Python or Ruby for writing applications and APIs.
• Experience with Apache Spark, AWS Glue, Athena, Databricks, Redshift, S3, and RDS.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Client management experience.
• Experience with Databricks and/or Power BI.
