What you will do

• Own solutions end-to-end, from domain research and design to coding, shipping, and production support.
• Drive independent research in the AI security domain, balancing innovation with practical, cost-effective engineering.
• Develop and evolve backend and frontend systems, extending microservices with AI/LLM capabilities.
• Utilize AI coding agents across the research, design, coding, and testing phases to increase development speed and quality.
• Collaborate with security researchers, data scientists, and product managers to transform ideas into shipped products.

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a hands-on technical leadership role such as Principal, Tech Lead, or Architect.
• Strong hands-on skills in a modern backend language, preferably Go or Python.
• Proven experience designing and building reliable, concurrent, thread-safe services from scratch in a product environment.
• Real, hands-on experience using AI coding agents across the development lifecycle.
• Solid grounding in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI security challenges like prompt injection, model leakage, and adversarial attacks.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into production systems beyond basic API calls.
• Experience with ML workflows and tools such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or provider SDKs.
• Background in application security, cloud security, or DevSecOps.
