Location: Hybrid (London, UK) — 3 days per week in office. Must have the appropriate right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

• Produce high-quality pre-recorded subtitles using scripts, caption files, and ASR-generated content.
• Ensure all subtitles comply with Ofcom requirements and hirify.global quality standards.
• Plan, allocate, and prioritize workloads to ensure content is delivered within agreed deadlines.
• Coordinate with freelance subtitlers, managing availability and resource coverage.
• Monitor ASR workflows and source necessary scripts and caption files for efficient delivery.
• Respond to technical or operational issues to maintain service levels.

Requirements

• Previous experience in subtitling, captioning, or a similar broadcast accessibility role.
• Experience working with subtitling systems, media workflows, or content delivery processes.
• Strong understanding of subtitle production standards and quality requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills for coordinating schedules and resources.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK

Nice to have

• Experience using ASR tools, subtitling platforms, or media management systems.
• Knowledge of Ofcom accessibility guidelines and broadcast compliance requirements.
