Software Developer (C++/Java)

What you will do

• Design and develop software for test and simulation frameworks in C++.
• Implement GUI elements for test support systems.
• Execute development tests and perform code reviews.
• Contribute to virtual engineering environments integrating simulations and real hardware.
• Provide 2nd level support for test support systems like AIDASS and MaTE.
• Support software teams with technical concepts and technology selection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT.
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
• Must be an EU citizen or eligible for a German work permit.
• Strong programming skills in Java and C++ or ADA.
• Foundational knowledge in software design patterns, architecture, and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaFX, Qt, MFC, or Eclipse RCP.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP) and ARINC 429.
• Familiarity with OSGi and model-driven development.
• Proficiency in Python.
