Location: Full-time, site-based role in Cardiff, United Kingdom (Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm).

Salary: £43,000 - £47,000 per annum

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Cardiff Global Centre to ensure high standards of facility maintenance.
• Drive health, safety, and compliance, including risk management and business continuity planning.
• Manage facilities budgets and suppliers, overseeing contract negotiations and procurement.
• Lead and develop a small local facilities team to foster high performance.
• Oversee workspace planning, including space utilization and office maintenance schedules.
• Deliver facilities projects such as office refurbishments and real estate initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualification in Facilities Management or equivalent professional leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading and motivating teams with a focus on employee experience.
• Strong commercial acumen in budget management and vendor procurement.
• Deep knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulatory compliance.
• Strong project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Must be able to work on-site in Cardiff Monday to Friday.

Nice to have

• BIFM Level 4 Diploma or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.
• Previous purchasing and procurement experience.
• Current Fire Warden and/or First Aid certification.
