What you will do

• Develop fire strategies for a wide range of building types.
• Undertake fire engineering calculations and modelling.
• Advise on fire safety design and Building Regulations compliance.
• Review architectural drawings and assess fire safety implications.
• Conduct site inspections and fire risk assessments where required.
• Liaise with approval bodies, fire authorities, and stakeholders; produce technical reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Background in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire engineering or a related field such as Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation and Building Regulations.
• Experience preparing fire strategies and technical reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
