Senior Data Analyst

TL;DR

Senior Data Analyst (SQL/BI): Analyse customer behaviour across SMS, web, app and digital channels to drive commercial growth with an accent on SQL-based dataset interrogation, Power BI/Tableau dashboarding, and customer segmentation/retention insights. Focus on evaluating tests and campaigns, shaping strategy with actionable recommendations, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Location: Manchester preferred (hybrid). Typically one day per week in the office (Tuesday) with occasional London travel.

What you will do

• Analyse customer behaviour across SMS, web, app and digital channels.
• Use SQL to interrogate large customer and transactional datasets.
• Produce actionable insights and recommendations to influence strategy.
• Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Develop customer segmentation, retention and lifecycle analysis.
• Evaluate tests, campaigns and pricing strategies; present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong SQL experience.
• Experience in data analytics, insights or BI.
• Dashboarding experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Strong customer insight and behavioural analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Commercially minded, naturally curious approach.

Nice to have

• CRM or lifecycle marketing analytics.
• Experience in gambling, fintech, insurance, comparison sites or consumer digital businesses.
• Knowledge of experimentation and A/B testing.
