Technical Support Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own customer and partner issues end-to-end, from first contact through to resolution, adhering to defined SLA targets.
• Investigate data mismatches, integration failures, and edge cases by reading logs, writing SQL queries, and reproducing issues in lower environments.
• Implement safe, well-scoped fixes such as configuration updates, data corrections, or small code changes.
• Act as the primary technical triage layer between Intercom and the engineering team.
• Maintain a structured voice-of-customer tracker to surface patterns and advocate for systemic product improvements.
• Contribute to internal documentation, runbooks, and participate in post-incident reviews.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in technical support or application support at B2B SaaS or API-first companies.
• Ability to read and debug code in TypeScript, Node.js, .NET, and Postgres.
• Strong working knowledge of REST APIs, including authentication flows (OAuth, API keys), webhooks, and rate limits.
• Proficiency in production debugging using observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Sentry.
• Advanced SQL skills for independent data investigation and validation.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Dublin, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Azure infrastructure or cloud-native environments.
• Previous experience working in a startup environment.
• Exposure to regulated industries such as fintech, insurtech, or healthtech.
• Experience with embedded or white-label API products.
