Senior Lead Test Engineer

hirify.global develops holistic lithography and YieldStar metrology systems that help semiconductor manufacturers improve integrated circuit design and production quality.

What you will do

• Define, automate, execute, and report system-level tests for YieldStar products.
• Validate software baselines through weekly regression testing and execute alpha tests for YieldStar software packages.
• Develop alpha test plans, write test reports, and submit issue tickets.
• Diagnose issues with software development and integration teams and re-test solutions.
• Drive improvements to test automation infrastructure, testware, methodologies, and processes.
• Coach junior testers and lead cross-team improvements in test coverage, stability, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with an emphasis on software engineering.
• At least five years of software development experience covering the full software development lifecycle.
• At least five years of testing and test automation experience, preferably in a hardware/software environment.
• At least five years of experience leading testing efforts with cross-functional teams across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering, software lifecycles, Scrum, test automation frameworks, and testing techniques.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, Python, and PowerShell, with excellent spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification or a similar testing certification.
