Backend Engineer (AdTech)

What you will do

• Own complex backend initiatives end-to-end, from design and implementation to integration and operation.
• Build high-throughput, low-latency services processing billions of transactions per day.
• Integrate with DSPs, SSPs, and third-party data providers using AdTech standards such as OpenRTB and VAST.
• Work with distributed systems, efficient caching, and streaming pipelines using Redis, Kafka, and Aerospike.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in large-scale production systems.
• Apply an SRE mindset for observability, incident response, and capacity planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of expert-level backend development experience with JavaScript / Node.js at scale.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scaling, fault tolerance, and load balancing.
• Hands-on experience with distributed databases (Aerospike, Redis) and streaming pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis).
• Strong SQL/RDBMS skills and experience with Linux-based environments and Git.
• Test-first mindset with experience in automated acceptance and load testing.
• English: Intermediate+ (B2) or higher required

Nice to have

• Experience in the AdTech industry.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
