Software Development Engineer II (Travel)

What you will do

• Develop, debug, and modify software application components and tools.
• Write automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests for continuous integration pipelines.
• Support and troubleshoot data and system issues and improve solutions to technical problems.
• Create and maintain technical design and business partner documentation.
• Resolve roadblocks, drive issues to closure, and participate in code and design reviews.
• Collaborate with the team on user story creation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with JVM technologies or functional programming in an equivalent language.
• Experience using code versioning tools such as Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Aurora, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with Kotlin or functional programming.
• Experience with Redis or Chef.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
