What you will do

  • Design and develop C#/.NET software for laboratory automation, instrument control, data acquisition, diagnostics, and workflow execution.
  • Build communication and control logic for analytical instruments, automation controllers, robotic and sample preparation devices, and connected laboratory systems.
  • Develop REST APIs, backend services, background processing, configuration services, and integration interfaces.
  • Create WPF and WinForms components for monitoring, configuration, diagnostics, and operator workflows.
  • Implement scientific data processing, including spectrum and chromatogram access, file parsing, data transformation, reporting, and result preparation.
  • Integrate AI-enabled services and improve observability, performance, error handling, logging, diagnostics, and maintainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, automation, electronic engineering, instrumentation, analytical science, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on C# development experience with .NET Framework and modern .NET versions such as .NET 6 or .NET 8.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, modular architecture, clean code, and software engineering practices.
  • Experience with asynchronous programming, multithreading, concurrency control, deadlock prevention, performance troubleshooting, and long-running tasks.
  • Experience with WPF or WinForms, REST APIs, background services, WebSocket or HTTP integrations, relational databases, and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework.
  • Ability to read technical documentation and participate in technical discussions in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in laboratory automation, analytical instrumentation, medical device software, industrial automation, or scientific workflow applications.
  • Experience with hardware APIs, SDKs, serial communication, TCP/IP, device drivers, command execution, or diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, Node, JavaScript, Python, Angular, Electron, AI Agent services, or scientific data workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, logging, monitoring, deployment packaging, or quality-sensitive product delivery.
