Medical Assistant, Travel Position (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Perform patient care activities including check-in/out, prescription refills, and administering injections.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record clinical information in patient charts/EMR.
• Manage 24-hour blood pressure monitoring and process specimens for courier transport.
• Handle clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, scheduling, and processing medical record requests in adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain office and medical supplies through efficient inventory management.
• Travel from the Cottonwood base office to satellite offices to accompany physicians during patient meetings.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Medical Assistant or a diploma/certificate from an accredited training organization.
• Must be based in Cottonwood, Arizona, and available to travel to satellite offices.
• 1-2 years of front/back office experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency using a stethoscope and standard office equipment (computer, scanner, printer).
