TL;DR

Senior Director of Client Growth and Strategy (HHS): Leading business development and capture strategies for federal civilian accounts with an accent on pipeline growth, contract vehicle management, and strategic market positioning. Focus on winning large-scale federal opportunities, building high-performing capture teams, and driving on-contract growth within the HHS and broader federal ecosystem.

Location: Must be based in the US. This is a hybrid position; must be able to work at least 2 days a week in the hirify.global office if requested.

Salary: $180,000–$250,000

What you will do

  • Lead and manage opportunity pipeline development aligned with strategic growth objectives.
  • Develop and execute winning capture plans for assigned pursuits using Shipley best practices.
  • Shape acquisition strategies, lead competitive intelligence, and define win themes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including proposal teams, pricing, HR, and contracting.
  • Engage customers and strategic partners to build strong relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform investment, resource, and growth decisions.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US and able to work in a dynamic, remote environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in government contracting.
  • 6+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven track record of winning federal captures of at least $50M+ TCV.
  • Extensive experience with pipeline development, capture management, and price-to-win strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of federal civilian agencies and the government contracting ecosystem.

Nice to have

  • Proven track record of winning federal captures of at least $100M+ TCV.
  • Strong knowledge and past performance working with the Federal Civilian, VA, and other target agencies.
  • Experience directing a distributed team and managing multiple programs as one collective business.
  • Knowledge of innovative industry business models and go-to-market solutions.
