Salary: $179,610 - $246,960 USD

What you will do

• Partner with leadership to develop and execute long-term Aerospace & Defense growth strategies based on DoD budget trends and National Defense Strategy.
• Own the operational framework for the BD organization, including pipeline governance, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Lead market assessments and competitive analyses to improve strategic positioning across priority accounts and programs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Contracts to align technical and commercial strategies for major pursuits.
• Develop executive briefings, strategic planning materials, and represent the company during customer engagements.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• 10+ years of experience in business development, capture management, or corporate strategy within the aerospace and defense industry.
• Deep understanding of the U.S. Department of Defense acquisition lifecycle, PPBE process, and budgeting.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, GovWin IQ, or Deltek.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience in advanced manufacturing, autonomy, propulsion, or precision munitions.
• Existing relationships within the U.S. DoD, defense prime contractors, or national security industrial base.
• MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Public Policy.
