What you will do

• Operate and maintain enterprise-grade solutions within air-gapped environments.
• Build and monitor secure development tools, pipelines, and infrastructure with a security-first mindset.
• Maintain SLOs/SLIs for workloads with no dependency on external monitoring or SaaS tooling.
• Own runbooks and incident response procedures tailored to limited external escalation paths.
• Support mission-critical services and advocate for SRE and DevOps practices across teams.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines that function without internet connectivity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Systems Engineer delivering complex infrastructure at scale.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform and tool development with Python.
• Experience with container orchestration (EKS, ECS Fargate) and runtime environments.
• Expertise in monitoring tools (Splunk, CloudWatch, Grafana) and AWS networking (VPC, TGW, VPC endpoints), BGP, and IPsec.
• Active U.S. TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• Subject to drug testing as required by U.S. Government contracts.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience in secure and compliant environments (e.g., FedRAMP), FIPS, and STIG.
• Working experience operating tools and services in air-gapped environments.
