Head of Communications (VC): Owning the brand and PR strategy for one of Europe's leading early-stage VCs and its portfolio companies with an accent on content creation strategy and thought leadership. Focus on building media relationships, driving LinkedIn presence, and implementing AI operations to scale communication output.

Location: Preferred location is Berlin. Open to London-based candidates who can travel to Berlin regularly

What you will do

• Drive PR strategy and positioning, managing press cycles and building relationships with key journalists and outlets.
• Develop creative brand presence on LinkedIn, at conferences, and other relevant industry channels.
• Lead end-to-end content creation, providing strategic direction and hands-on writing for the leadership team.
• Provide communication advisory to portfolio companies, particularly regarding funding announcements and narratives.
• Build and maintain a network of agencies and partners for the wider portfolio to utilize.
• Implement a robust AI operating system to extend output across research, drafting, and production.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in comms/PR, ideally within VC, startups, or tech.
• Existing relationships with journalists and media covering European tech and venture.
• Fluent, hands-on use of AI tools as part of daily workflow.
• Excellent written English.
• Based in Berlin or London (with ability to travel to Berlin regularly).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German.
