What you will do

• Lead PR strategy and execution for the UK and European markets to grow brand reputation.
• Manage communications for UK robotaxi activities and future European expansion in partnership with major automotive and mobility players.
• Build and deepen relationships with key UK and European media through briefings, events, and proactive engagement.
• Translate complex technical, regulatory, and commercial milestones into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders.
• Support executive communications, including profile-building, media preparation, and coaching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Policy, Product, and Partnerships to shape external messaging.

Requirements

• Significant experience in communications at a fast-paced technology company, ideally in mobility, AI, automotive, or regulated sectors.
• Strong understanding of and relationships with the UK media landscape, including business, technology, and policy media.
• Proven track record of building company brand, reputation, and market position.
• Experience working with policy teams on regulation, public affairs, or market readiness.
• Ability to operate independently in-market while collaborating with global teams.
• Willingness to travel across Europe on a monthly to quarterly basis.

Nice to have

• Experience in crisis communications or incident response in safety-critical industries.
• Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or emerging technology.
• Experience working across multiple European markets and adapting strategies country by country.
