TL;DR

Location: On-site in South San Francisco, California. Remote option is not available.

Salary: $111,790 – $207,610

What you will do

  • Serve as the business owner for Funding and Advisory Board Operations systems, performing compliance reviews and approvals.
  • Lead operational governance across Program Operations and provide ongoing guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Modernize operational processes by evaluating workflows and partnering with technology teams to implement AI and automation solutions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to healthcare fraud and abuse regulations, hirify.global standards, and SOPs.
  • Provide customer service and guidance to external organizations regarding the grant application process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive co-ownership of operational elements and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, law, public policy, business, finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated industries.
  • Healthcare Compliance Certification required (either held or obtained within 6 months of start date).
  • In-depth knowledge of bio/pharma legal and regulatory environments, including anti-kickback statutes and PhRMA Code.
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex content into clear, actionable business communications.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with funding-related preventative and detective controls in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience serving as an advisor or developer of key operational practices and procedures.
  • Experience in compliance disciplines such as privacy, healthcare auditing, monitoring, or transparency.
