What you will do

• Manage a cohesive product research team and drive trust, respect, and inclusion.
• Partner with Product leadership, the Security Operations Center, Engineering, and others to develop the security platform threat operations roadmap.
• Provide technical and managerial leadership to direct reports across one or more security disciplines (e.g., offensive security, vulnerability management, security operations, threat intelligence).
• Identify risks, blockers, and operational gaps and bring solutions to leadership.
• Coach and mentor researchers through professional development, performance management, and workflow improvements.
• Use AI to redesign and scale research workflows, set quality/risk standards, and measure functional impact of AI adoption.

Requirements

• Experience leading cybersecurity teams with at least one area of security research and development.
• Ability to manage, attract, hire, and grow a cybersecurity team as needed.
• Strong independence: make decisions, take action, and be accountable for outcomes.
• Communicate highly technical concepts effectively within your specialty.
• Operate with responsibility for cybersecurity and demonstrate offense-minded, threat-focused research orientation.
