What you will do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance monitoring and testing programme to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Provide compliance advisory support to Regional Operations Business Leadership on new and existing rules and best practices.
- Operationalise policies and procedures required for compliance with all applicable regulations, including AML/CFT.
- Oversee the implementation of new regulatory requirements and conduct horizon scanning in cooperation with Strategy and Regulatory teams.
- Manage regulatory reporting requirements and ensure marketing materials adhere to local laws.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs specific to Irish and EU regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Must be based in Ireland
- Experience in crypto, fintech, or another regulated, fast-paced industry with high transaction volumes.
- Strong second-line Compliance experience in a previous senior position at a regulated MiFID investment firm, bank, or crypto exchange.
- In-depth knowledge of AMLDs, CJA, EMR, and PSD2.
- Experience with VASP registrations and managing complex, global compliance projects.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze risk and apply sound judgment in a timely manner.
