What you will do

• Manage daily billing and follow-up activities for government and non-government accounts within the revenue cycle.
• Document claims billed, paid, and settled in appropriate systems to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate overpayments, underpayments, and credit balances to maximize reimbursement for services.
• Research and resolve claim rejections by taking corrective actions or referring claims to appropriate colleagues.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to resolve billing discrepancies and obtain demographic or insurance information.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience in revenue cycle functions within a hospital, clinic, or health insurance environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational abilities.
• Must be based in the United States.
