What you will do

• Perform design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of the RNEC-NCR network infrastructure and ICAN.
• Install and configure network hardware, operating systems, and software applications ensuring Information Assurance (IA) compliance.
• Maintain critical components from edge routers to Area Distribution Switches on a 24/7 on-call basis.
• Manage and support CAC and PKI authentication for secure network and application access.
• Implement and maintain VPNs, firewalls, SONET multiplexers, and secure SSL data transmission methods.
• Respond to critical and VIP tickets via AESMP within a strict two-hour window.

Requirements

• Active SECRET security clearance.
• Active CCNA Routing and Switching certification.
• IAT-II level certification (e.g., Security+CE).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with government officials.
• Must be able to work onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA.
