What you will do

• Perform end-to-end network services from initial design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading.
• Configure and optimize network equipment to connect various front-end and back-end components.
• Minimize network latency and maximize throughput using design analysis and performance monitoring tools.
• Implement network solutions including load-balancing, VPNs, firewalls, Traffic Shaping, VoIP, and IP Encryption.
• Maintain network diagrams and ensure hardware/software integration satisfies ISO 9000 and DoD/IC regulations.
• Manage work schedules and provide technical direction to junior-level engineers.

Requirements

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with FSP is mandatory.
• 12 years of relevant professional experience in Network Engineering (reducible with advanced degrees).
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in LAN/CAN/WAN administration and network architecture design.
• Location: Must be able to work onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.
