Salary: $17.15–$25.73 per hour

What you will do

  • Perform daily billing and follow-up tasks to support the revenue cycle process.
  • Document all claim activities, including billing, payments, and settlements in the system.
  • Contact payers directly to resolve payment delays and address underpayments or overpayments.
  • Research and correct claim rejections to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
  • Communicate with hospital departments to clarify demographic, clinical, and financial information.
  • Identify and escalate issues that impact billing accuracy and reimbursement efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in revenue cycle functions, medical claims processing, or healthcare financial services.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations with diverse personalities.
